Project Location

The Cuniş Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) Project is located to the south of Hayrat District of Trabzon Province in the Black Sea Region.

Project Facilities

The structures included in the project consist of the following components:

• Tyrolean-type Cuniş Regulator at 1630.50 m thalweg and 1634.75 m crest elevation
• Transmission Channel 1 (421.80 m)
• Transmission Tunnel (1,645.14 m)
• Transmission Channel 2 (56.26 m)
• Head pond at 1628.09 m normal water level
• Penstock with an inclined length of 269.22 m
• Powerhouse building at a tailwater elevation of 1458.40 m
